Hopefully we cover all your burning questions below, but if not feel free to get in touch through our contact page. 

  • What is the Blind Wine Company?
    The Blind Wine Company is a wine club and online wine store that pushes its members to learn about wine in the most fun and interactive way possible: by drinking wine! We deliver to our club members three wines every month that come wrapped up so there are no identifying features. Members are then invited to taste their wines blind to learn about wine without the influence of fancy marketing or preconceived ideas. The wines also have a QR code so that once the wines have been tasted, club members can find out more about the wine, where it comes from, and compare their tasting notes.
  • Why Blind Tasting?
    Learning to taste wines blind offers a unique and valuable experience for wine enthusiasts. By removing visual cues, such as labels, individuals can hone their sensory skills and develop a more refined palate. Blind tasting encourages a focus on the true characteristics of a wine, fostering a deeper understanding of flavours, aromas, and textures. This practice enhances one's ability to objectively evaluate and appreciate different varietals, ultimately elevating the overall enjoyment of the wine-tasting experience.
  • Can I customise which wines I receive every month?
    Here at the Blind Wine Co we are about challenging our customers. As such, we provide the same three bottles to all our customers every month and don't allow for customisation of what wines people receive. This also increases the challenge of learning what is in your glass. So let go of what you think you know and let your senses take control. In addition to The Blind Wine Club, we also offer our wine favourites that can be bought whenever you like. So, if you need a mid-month top up or are really vibing a certain wine, you can buy them whenever you like and they'll be delivered within two working days.
  • When will I receive my Club box.
    We send out our club boxes on the first Tuesday of every month limiting the extent to which members can find out which wines they have before tasting them. One off purchases for wine via our store will be received within 2 working days from the day you place the order.
  • Do you provide any information on the wines?
    Yes! The labels affixed to the wine packaging will have information on whether the wine is a white, red or rose (we're working on sparkling). This allows you to do any chilling you may wish to do before enjoying your latest bottle. When you scan the QR code you will be taken to the wine's page on our website that will have plenty of information about the wine, where it's from, how it was made and tasting notes that you can compare against.
  • Can I pause my subscription?
    Of course; we totally appreciate that things come up in life that means you won't be able to receive your wines every month. Simply send an email to contact@blindwine.co.uk and tell us when you want your subscription paused and for how long!
  • What if I don't like my wine?
    That's good! Now you know which wine you don't like and hopefully you can work out why. We don't provide refunds for products you don't enjoy but we trust that you will see the immense value in both building your understanding of wine, and appreciate the kick ass bottles when they come.
  • What's the cancellation policy on the Blind Wine Club
    You can cancel anytime by going to your 'My Subscriptions' page in your account. If you have already paid for your next subscription delivery, you are not entitled to a refund however you will still receive your wines (obviously). The reason for this is that finding wines of the highest possible quality to go into our subscription requires a level of planning and appropriate ordering. We trust you will nevertheless enjoy your next delivery.
  • What if I'm away for the delivery?
    You have two options: You can send an email to contact@blindwine.co.uk and tell us when you would like to receive your wines instead. Please note we won't be able to deliver your wines before the standard shipping time (the second week of the month) limiting the extent to which the wines can be leaked. You can pause your subscription by getting in touch and telling us when you'd like to pause it and for how long and then we will reactivate it for you when you're ready to get back in the game!
